China cancels Crayfish from Australia

Robe crayfishermen can’t win this year, but there is a silver lining to every situation. What a great opportunity to sample this delicacy while the price is consumer friendly. Fresh crayfish, straight from the briney, fresh bread, lashings of butter, cracked black pepper – a complete cholesterol fix!
No need to mention it to the doctor – but best to leave the butter out if you really do have high cholesterol.

Daylight saving already

No more whinging about short days – did you remember to change all your clocks or are you running late? Seems like summer is upon us – garden needs watering, paddocks drying off quickly lambs stacking on the weight.

Spring

Can’t wait for more of those delicious warm days.

If you’re thinking about getting to Robe before the silly season and Santa you’d best have a look at the calendar and book soon as it’s filling fast.

It’s no heat wave but the days are getting longer!

Cold and no rain for a while – pity, we need lots more  – but what gorgeous sunny days we’re having after the fog lifts.

baby it’s cold outside

days are still warm in the sun but nights are chilly – snuggle in by the fire and watch a movie or read a good book.

daylight saving ends

Don’t forget to put your clocks forward this weekend – Sunday 4th April. at 2 a.m.
